The Blue Bee Cider Experience
Blue Bee Cider produces artisanal ciders on a seasonal basis, pressing apples when they are ripe, fermenting them over the winter and finishing them for sale in the spring. When you come to visit, you have a good chance of meeting the cidermaker or a family member who wants to spread the joy of our craft.
Blue Bee Cider’s expected production from the 2013 harvest was about 2,500 cases. So don’t miss your chance to try Richmond’s very own cider!
Tours & Private Events
Blue Bee Cider’s facility in Old Manchester functions primarily as a cider production facility and urban orchard. However we do have a cozy tasting room open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.
Tours occur three times a day when the tasting room is open (1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 p.m.). Tours last about 20 minutes depending on questions and are provided at no charge. Please be aware that the majority of the facility is not climate controlled.
The tasting room can host private events and meetings of about 15 people with outside catering outside our regular tasting room hours. If you have an event idea you want to explore, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
