History on Tap: Washington, Spies and Hewe’s Crab

Richmond Magazine recaps a special evening on April 25, 2016 when the Virginia Historical Society hosted a pre-screening of the TURN Season 3, as part of its History on Tap series. After the screening, Paul Levengood, President and CEO of the VHS lead a discussion of on espionage during the Revolutionary War with TURN actor Samuel Roukin, who plays the villainous British Captain John Graves Simcoe, Amy Edmunds from the Virginia Film Office, Dr. Edward Lengel and Lynn Price from The Washington Papers at the University of Virginia. Oh! and everyone was drinking Hewe’s Crab cider.
