This cider is incredibly special in a million ways:
1) The 2024 vintage won ‘Cider of the Year’ at the VA Governor’s Cup!
2) Widely celebrated across the globe as one of the best cidermaking apples in the world.
3) Rare. Hewe’s Crab is an early fruit, susceptible to late frosts. In
2024 we were able to acquire 500 gal. Last year, this vintage, we could only get our hands on 160 gal. This year (2026), we couldn’t get ANY.
