Pursuing Creativity with Sarah Bartley Illustration
Wednesday, January 17 from 6:00-7:30 pm
The second in our Body, Mind, & Spirit Series, this workshop will feature guided instruction in creating your own locally-themed piece of art and a discussion about how to infuse creativity into your daily life.
Led by Sarah Bartley, a Richmond, VA-based illustrator/designer and creator of the Color Richmond book. We’ll provide the canvases, painting and drawing tools, and a template of your choice based off of one of the Richmond scenes in Color Richmond. As you work on your creation, Sarah will talk about her creative process, living a creative life, and steps you can take for practicing creativity in your own life, in both big ways and small. You’ll also get to take home a copy of the exclusive coloring page Sarah designed for Blue Bee Cider’s first birthday celebration at Summit Stables.
Limited to 20 people. Tickets: $25/each, including all art supplies, a glass of cider, and an exclusive Blue Bee Cider coloring page to take home.
**In order to choose the scene you’d like to paint, you must purchase your ticket by Wed, Jan 10.**
Class will be held in our historic hayloft, unless ADA accessibility is needed. **Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org after purchasing your ticket if you are unable to climb stairs.**
